These pretty brilliant water drops on top of the roses were taken at the
Gardens by the Bay in Singapore just after a heavy rain. I used to hate rain
especially when im on a photoshoot trip until I discovered the beauty of rain
drops on plants creating crystal like water droplets. It was then that i got
hooked with macro photography….after the rain is a perfect time to take macro
photos of water drops (this image though was not taken on a macro setting…
i will upload the macro shots later).
If you love to take photos of flowers, Gardens by the Bay is the place to go
in Singapore. It has three main parks and eco-friendly conservatories
boasting variety of plants. At the conservatory, you can take photos of flowers
indoor at the Flower Dome but with an entrance fee. Otherwise, a stroll around
the park will already give you more than a quarter of a million of rare plants and
flowers to shoot.
