The Golden Sandy Beaches of Barcelona Coastline

Spain Beach

What i like about Barcelona is its mixture of city and beach holiday. Barcelona offers a vast stretch of 5 km coastline with golden sandy beaches, abundance of sunshine, aqua parks, natural attractions, and variety of water sports activities.  It is a prime beach-lover’s destination about 10 minutes away from the city centre and easily accessible by local transportation. If you fancy getting away for a day from the city tour, lounge on the beaches.  It is the best way to relax from all the sight-seeing. In the evening, experience the crazy nightlife and the beach clubs for which the city of Barcelona is best known for amongst party goers.

How about you? What do you like best in Barcelona?

  2. For me its the amazing Gaudi buildings and monuments.

  3. I have not been to Barcelona, but I would love to go someday. That’s a gorgeous photo. I had a good friend who visited and was able to live vicariously through her visit a little bit. One of my dream is to head into Morocco through Spain, starting in Malaga and working my south to cross the Straits of Gibraltar. When I was young, I was a love of Paul Bowles’ writing, and he really inspired my interest in Morocco. I wrote a poem about that adventure; maybe I’ll share it on my blog.

    • yes please share your poem and let me know when its uploaded 🙂 I had a peacecorp friend who did that — crossed morocco from spain through granada and cordoba….i only went as far as granada….it was summer and whew it was really hot down south…..but spain will always be one of my fave European country and one i would definitely like to visit again…..thanks billy for visiting my blog and keep on coming back….

  4. What a great shot! Love it!
