If you are looking for a romantic beach honeymoon, Seychelles is often on top of the list of honeymoon destinations for newlyweds. Why? It is a tranquil island, not yet commercial and overdeveloped. There are many secluded spot with honey and pinkish white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and untamed nature so sublime that honeymooners enjoy their private moments. The royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton spent their honeymoon holidays in one of Seychelles’ secluded islands. Despite the shark attack that killed a British tourist in 2011 while on a honeymoon, tourists continue to flock the islands of Seychelles. (It was the first fatal shark attack in the country since 1963.) Two months after, I visited Anze Lazio beach where the shark attack incident happened. The local tourism identified designated area for swimming surrounded by fishnets to protect tourists. I was not keen on swimming but when I arrived the island, I could not resist the crystal clear blue water (one can clearly see fishes swimming around without using goggles!). It was absolutely breathtaking! Notwithstanding the honeymooners and lovers scattered around the island, I still consider Seychelles as one of my best beach holidays. Indeed, the charm of Seychelles for honeymooners is the pure luxury it offers in seductive and exotic surroundings.
